Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup s water
- 1 1/4 cup s ketchup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbs yellow mustard
- 3 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbs granulated sugar
- 5 drops hot sauce
- 4 lb stew beef, cubed
Directions
Preheat oven to 350º. In saucepan combine water, ketchup, onion, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, sugar and hot sauce. Bring to a boil. Trim fat from beef and cut into cubes. Place beef in Dutch oven. Pour sauce over beef and stir just to blend. Cover and bake 3 hours. Remove from oven and shred meat with fork. Serve on buns.
